Breakfasts and Graphic Novels
Jesse's Graphic Novel.

Thoughts on breakfasts in Breaking Bad:
- Just a couple of slices of veggie bacon in the pilot episode reveal the pecking order in the White family: controlling and slightly annoying Skylar, Walter, suppressing himself on every level imaginable, and finally the junior who, at least according to some posts on AMC's forum mostly suffers from lack of purpose.
- But I do appreciate this combination of fan enthusiasm and weakness for food:
(source: reddit.com)- Desperate pancakes in 2.4 "Down": Walt tries a bit too hard, cooks breakfast for the family and then he and Skylar swap roles. She takes off and lets him wonder all day where the hell she might be.
- 2.10 "Over" is a "morning" episode. Walt should be starting a new life after surviving cancer (and Tuco.. and those four days in the desert..) but instead goes through mental and alcoholic hangover and no matter how much he tries to fix the leakage and stop the rot, it will eat its way through to the end of a happy household.
- Jesse, on the other hand, starts his day in his beautiful apartment with his beautiful new love (and a 1.2 mega worth of blue meth in the kitchen cabinet.) He devotes himself to Jane who helps him re-discover his cute superpowers such as cooking - Huevos Rancheros.
